Biography

Hi ! I am Jiacheng Liang, a second-year Ph.D. Candidate at Stony Brook University - ALPS Lab, advised by Ting Wang. I obtained my bachelor degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China(UESTC).
Before joining PSU, I had research interships at HKPolyU(advised by Song Guo), HKUST(advised by Songze Li) and UESTC(advised by Jingwei Li).
My expertise is in ensuring the Safety and Trustworthiness of Machine Learning models. I focus on identifying and addressing vulnerabilities, as well as designing robust defensive strategies. My recent work has addressed the security issues in LLMs, specifically in the contexts of watermarking and alignment.
